Raised in rural PA and now based in Center City, Philadelphia, Shannon lives with her daughter, Rosalie, and her dog, Bunnie.

 

Shannon began her legal career in 2007 as a plaintiff-side litigator, representing individual clients in personal injury, product liability, and multi-party mass tort cases. She later shifted focus to complex consumer protection class actions, representing both union and non-union pension and retirement plan plaintiffs in cases valued in the hundreds of millions. Her practice spanned federal courts across the country, including successfully opposing an appeal to the United States Supreme Court. Known for building strong rapport with individual and corproate parties, Shannon excels at addressing both the legal, business and human aspects of case resolution.

 

Midway through her career, Shannon transitioned to defense-side litigation, serving as in-house employment counsel for a Fortune 500 company. In this role, she was responsible for nationwide litigation and settlement strategies, regularly resolving employment cases at mediation. Over the course of her in-house career, Shannon favorably resolved more than 500 cases, including wage and hour class actions and FLSA collective actions, and gained deep insight into the internal dynamics that guide corporate employers' business and risk assessments.

 

Now serving as a neutral, Shannon brings a unique perspective. She understands the complexities of litigating a case through trial and is skilled at brokering settlements that balance both parties' interests.
